Bad boy Lincoln Laing is sentenced to four months in Fiddle Creek for his latest clash with crime. He’s not happy to return to the small town he grew up in, his parents’ suicides three years ago the reason for his departure.

His former best friend Katie, who he is still crushing on, doesn’t seem too happy that he’s back and Lincoln’s can’t stand that Katie’s with his arch nemesis, Jack Pittman, either.

Ready to split town, Lincoln discovers his parents booked a paid trip to France a week before their deaths. When he does some digging, he learns they didn’t kill themselves. They were murdered.

Desperate for closure, Lincoln teams up the town geek to uncover the killer, unaware that unraveling the town’s best-kept secret could end up revealing an even bigger one that will change his life forever.
