Smiles, Boyfriends, and Other White Lies
When college sophomore Lauren finds her dream study abroad to Australia, dating Conner is her best shot to get there: annoying but flirtatious, Conner’s the perfect fake boyfriend to convince Lauren’s mom, who controls the money that would make the trip possible but who wants her married ASAP, that she’s taking her love life seriously. And since Conner isn’t interested in long-term relationships, Lauren won’t even have to feel bad about dumping him. However, when Lauren falls for Conner just in time for her deception to come to light, both she and he have to decide what’s real, what’s fake, and what’s worth fighting for.
