SIGHTED

Description

First Kassandra was kissed by a snake, now Apollo. The first kiss gave her foresight and took her arm away. Kassandra doesn’t mourn the loss and it hasn’t stopped her from becoming an archer. The gift of foresight has allowed her to save lives.

Apollo is back. He wants compensation for the snake’s gift. Kassandra is not interested in being a god’s eternal companion, but does agree to a single kiss. Kissing a god is divine, but comes with a curse. Kassandra can still see the future, but is powerless to change it.

Apollo twines his way into Kassandra’s mortal life, charming her twin brother Nikolas. Apollo still wants his prize. Kassandra just wants her normal back. Kassandra has a vision of Nikolas pierced by an arrow from Apollo’s bow, but no one believes her.

Words will not save Nik. Kassandra will have to use her bow.
