I am three chapters in and so far it seems pretty interesting. There is a lot of detail to the characters and the background. The main character seems gentle, but the fight scene in the beginning shows he is not. I am ready to see what happens.

I love the time setting of the book and how vivid of a picture the author painted with her words. It also intrigued me that the death angel could be made to be so beautiful and that she fell in love with the main character. This story keeps you on the edge of your seat and has as many layers as an onion. You peel a layer back and there's one more right under it. The actual relationship between the two brothers will defiantly blow your mind by the end of your read. I would say the only improvements that I can see is maybe needed would be at the beginning the main character is in a dream and its not that clear that he is. Other then that its great and I'm ready for it to come out on the shelves so I can put it in my library!

Similar Stories : I would say probably one of Casandra Clary's books. Its set in a different time and it has people with different special ability's. There is a significant amount of battling and a fair amount of a love story. I would love to see a squeal to this book if she could some how twist one up!
