While on assignment in London, journalist Via Brooksman gets the news that Canada is closing its international borders because of the coronavirus pandemic sweeping the world. She and photographer Isaac Cohen must find a way to return home before it's too late.
But once home, Via realizes that more problems await her, forcing her to quarantine with Isaac. Stuck in his Halifax apartment, the two colleagues (and Isaac's escape-artist cat, Gatsby) must figure out how to get along while separated from their families. As the quarantine drags on, will they start running up the walls or will they realize that there is more to the other than they first thought?
A story that examines the hardship of being isolated from the world, but also discovering that it is truly the little things that matter.
