Peace of My Heart

Description

It's the summer of 1969. Danny Hillman knows it's up to her to keep her sisters safe from dysfunction at home. It's also her job to monitor the mailbox in case her older brother Spencer writes home from Vietnam.

But when her wildly popular boyfriend, Blake, gives her a ticket to Woodstock, she realizes it's a trip she needs to take—for her own sanity. The only problem is, Blake wants to go all the way with Danny at the concert, but she's not ready for that. And one other thing: Danny is starting to fall in love with someone else—the mysterious guitar-playing poet Jordan Greenleaf.

With the help of a colorful cast of characters she meets at Woodstock, her mind is opened up to new perspectives on how to navigate life back at home. But first, she must get through new challenges that arise at the greatest concert of all time.
