Patron Saint of Sass

Catherine just wants to live a comfortable, predictable life; but that’s harder than it sounds when you live next door to Joan of Arc and she decides that it’s time to go save France. Joan has never been taken seriously before, and Catherine has no reason to think that this delusion will be any different. But suddenly, people are listening to Joan. People with power. Catherine soon finds herself disguised as a man and riding across France as Joan’s protection while she meets with the Dauphin about battle tactics. As Joan’s influence at court begins to fail, Catherine finds herself not only fighting the English, but fighting Joan herself, as Joan adjusts her ultimate goal from freeing France to achieving sainthood.
