Of Cinders and Fae
Bell Kincaid is the adopted daughter of a wealthy merchant family. When her family loses everything to their scheming partner, Lady Tremonton, they move to the countryside.
Years later, Lady Tremonton offers a deal, and Bell’s father leaves to meet her. When he returns, he gives Bell two options. The first is to marry Lady Tremonton’s son and allow him to die but the family to live in prosperity. The second is to live with a beast in a strange land and allow him and the family to remain as they are. Not bearing to lose her father, Bell chooses to live with the beast.
Armed with a single rose to guide her, Bell finds a land and a beast beyond her imagining. Fearsome and ignorant, the beast treats her with kindness and a familiarity that confuses her. And during her stay with him, she discovers letters written in her own hand.
