A Kinder Shore

Description

Caroline Sanders is a heartless girl. She has heard it over and over from her family and friends. Growing up on the estate of Blakely Park, she had every opportunity in life; wealth, education, and breeding. None of these allotments have brought her happiness or satisfaction.

Her eighteenth summer is set to be her dullest as her brother has returned to help with the estate after her elder brother's death. More than anything, Caroline is dreading the friend he has brought with him.

Jean Ross is an aspiring Captain in the Royal Navy and longs to distinguish himself above his low birth. When asked to join his brother-at-arms for his return to the family estate, Jean is unprepared for the woman that awaits him.

Or the way their paths will cross again and again as they pursue fulfillment they cannot find anywhere but with each other.
