A Very SIGNS POINT TO YES Halloween

After much thought, I have come up with what each of the characters in Signs Point to Yes would be for Halloween.

Jane – For the past several years, Jane has dressed up as a character from Doctor Who and this year is no different. She decided to go as the Tardis. She spends a lot of time explaining what the Tardis is and why it says Police Box on her costume. She also makes several ill-timed and under-appreciated “bigger on the inside” jokes. Teo laughs every time because he’s Teo.

Teo – Teo only recently, finally got ungrounded after his jaunt to Illinois at the end of the summer. He’s still trying to earn points with his mom and therefore when his younger sisters begged him to dress up as Goldilocks and the Three Bears with them, he said yes. He should not have been surprised when they didn’t want him to be Papa Bear, but rather Baby Bear. It’s humiliating but worth it because when he’s done taking the girls trick-or-treating his mom lets him go to a party with Jane and Ravi. Unfortunately he doesn’t have time to change out of his Baby Bear costume. (For the record, Keegan is Goldilocks, Rory is Mama Bear, and Piper is Papa Bear.)

Ravi – Ravi dresses up like Jane. But he doesn’t put on a wig or try to borrow one of her dresses. No, he goes to Walmart and buys a four-dollar t-shirt and writes “JANE” across it in magic marker. Then he pretends to be his version of her for the entire length of the party, which mostly involves talking about Doctor Who and hanging all over Teo.

Margo – Margo is a tough one. She couldn’t decide what she wanted to dress up as for Halloween and in the end she almost didn’t dress up at all. But at the last second her friends decided to dress up as the Seven Dwarves using mostly oversized t-shirts and toilet paper for beards. They really needed Margo to be Dopey. It was kind of nice not to be the genius of the group for once.
