Judging a Cover by Its Book: Choose the Cover Direction for JUST FRIENDS!

What's up, Swooners?
We can't wait for you to dive into the five cover options for Just Friends! In this debut contemporary from Tiffany Pitcock, two teens who build a friendship out of elaborate lies have to decide whether or not their love is true. Here's the synopsis in case you're in need of a refresher:
"Jenny met Chance for the very first time when she was assigned as his partner in their Junior Communications class. But one clever lie to rescue a doomed assignment later, and the whole school was suddenly convinced that Little-Miss-Really-Likes-Having-As and the most scandalous heartbreaker in school have been best friends forever.
It’s amazing how quickly a lie can grow—especially when you really, really want it to be the truth. With Jenny, Chance can live the normal life he’s always kind of wanted. And with Chance, Jenny can have the exciting teen experiences that television has always promised her. And through it all, they hold on to the fact that they are 'just friends.' But that might be the biggest lie of all."
Swoon designer extraordinaire Liz D. has put together five incredible cover directions for you to choose from, and has shared some thoughts about her inspiration behind each one. Remember, the below images aren't necessarily final. These are just directions, so there will probably be some tweaks made before the book hits the shelves. The winding type and multiple scenes show the different paths Jenny and Chance's relationship take—or could take! I love this flat illustration style, though these are pretty rough. For final, I'd finesse everything and make the scenes less generic so that the cover really matches the book.
Trampoline #1 Cover
As soon as I read the trampoline scene, I knew it had to be one of the cover options. This is the soft romantic version with a muted color palette and a tender almost-kiss. The brush script complements the mood. I think Chance is looking a little too clean-cut here; he'd need some hair in his eyes on the final version.
This cover started with just the type and sky. I love having the clouds come over the title, and I love the font, but that's not quite enough to be a cover... Oh, right, the characters! Even just walking along the bleachers, they're sharing such a happy, intimate look.
This is my version of the site cover. I made it more graphic so that each element really stands out. I love how magical the sparklers feel and how they're being held out to you. (Plus, black and white and pink is one of my favorite color palettes.)
Trampoline #2 Cover
So, clearly I liked the trampoline scene so much I created two options with it. This is the bright fun version with a cool birds-eye perspective and saturated colors. The characters are... not quite right though. For final I would update them to actually match Jenny and Chance.
