I grew up in Africa among a rich storytelling tradition. Every school holiday my brother and I used to visit our grandparents in the village. There was no TV, no phones and of course no tablets so stories were all we had. My brother, cousins, and I used to sit around the fire whilst my grandparents told stories of fantastical creatures, mythical beings, and faraway worlds. These were folktales that had been passed down from generation to generation, and yes, as is the case with most oral lore, the tales were so exaggerated they oozed finesse at each retelling. This is where my love for writing was born. I write young adult romantic fiction across various genres. I love all genres of romance in particular uplifting and swoon-worthy fiction.
